Medical Management Operations Manager – Managed Care -West Texas, TX-The Medical Management Operations Manager is responsible for facilitating communication and directing the operations of all Disease Management (DM), ITC functions, DataRAP®, Utilization Management (UM) and Complex Care Case Management services in a defined market. The Manager works in collaboration with the Regional Director and updates the market staff on all activities related to medical management including changes in process, staffing or programs. The Manager in conjunction with the clinic administrator will be responsible for assuring processes are in place to accomplish all defined goals of the quality metrics. The Manager coordinates personnel to meet medical management operational program needs in the market as it relates to care management activities. The success of this position requires the ability to foster communication and teamwork between DM staff, UM, clinic staff, corporate departments, market staff and senior leadership. The Manager assists senior leadership with priorities to maintain operations assuring activities are appropriately integrated into strategic direction, as well as the mission and values of the company. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required (8 additional years of experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree). Mastered preferred. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state required. At least 5 years of healthcare experience to include experience in a managed care setting, hospital setting and/or physician practice setting required.
